  • If California falls like New Jersey did then I'm afraid we're royally screwed.

This will be the first CA gubernatorial election where I'll be old enough to vote, and as a young lefty I will definitely be lending my hand to Jerry Brown.

  • GO JERRY!!! He has my vote! NO MEG WHITMAN FOR GOVERNOR!

  • GO GET'UM JE-RY BROWN the people Choice for Governor of California YEAH !!!!!!

  • Whitman is bidding on her "stairway to heaven" by buying a lot of brainwashing propaganda everywhere. We're not allowing California politics to go demo-crazy. No, not in this town, baby. Sacramento is not on the market. The people owns it, and it's going to stay that way. Go, Jerry, go! Go!

  • After Meg Whitman brought eBay's business to Goldman Sachs, she bought shares in 100 Goldman Sachs IPOs one day and sold them the next day. She made 1.78 million dollars.

It was a good day's work.

Don't think of it as a kickback. Think of it like Discover, the Card that Pays You Back.

Former SEC commissioner Steve Wallman had a less nice way to describe it:

    "It's a black-and-white corporate bribery issue."

    -- Chris Kelly, 5/13/09

  • "NO MEG!!!"

Enough with cynical, disgusting, Republican LIARS.

During the primaries Whitman strongly opposed any immigration reform which allows legalization of illegal immigrants, and enlisted support from from former Gov. Pete Wilson who said she's "tough as nails" on the issue.

After the primaries she flip-flops & runs Spanish language TV & radio ads claiming she opposes Pete Wilson's support of the AZ racial profiling law. -- L.A. Times

    Duhh???

  • Please beat Whitman Jerry, please please beat Whitman.

  • Republicans have given up on the minority vote. The sad thing is that they consider women to be a minority too.

  • Go Jerry!
