Im going to start spraying latex paint with a similar if not the same paint gun you are using. Do you thin your latex and if so, how do you thin it? Water only or other thinners? If you can please give me the ratios that you use I would appreciate it. It was suggested to me to do 8oz. latex, 1oz. floetrol and 1oz. water... Let me know any info you can please, I would really appreciate it, Im a beginner, especially at using latex in a HVLP spray gun. Thank you in advance.

EPA would love you. I like your video and love cornhole, but you still need a 10 dollar fan and a 50 cent filter to make the world breathe easier. Great job great video. Look up knock down spray booth on internet with old pdf file and improvise on what they built. Also you could take an old discarded office chair with swivel and convert that into a spinning stand for your boards to sit on stand in one place spray and spin and save time.

@therealposie - Thank you for your comments. We have actually built a spray booth now that has filters and temperature controls. We are only spraying latex paint so it amounts to spraying your house with latex paint. It isn't as nasty as other paints (like the spray bombs, etc)
Thanks again for viewing the video!

I start by spraying a "dry" coat which is just a thin layer of paint, that dries to a tack within minutes and then I come back with a "wet" coat for complete coverage. With the paint that I use and the capability of the gun, I generally only need one good coat. Some colors require a second but never coat after coat after coat.
