Using MS Kinect to build real world Google Analytics.

We have been thinking about how disrupt market research field using the new toy MS Kinect, and the big question was: Is it possible to build a real world Google analytics using MS kinect?. The answer now is YES.

We developed a mac software solution called Shopper Tracker for in-store shopper tracking using the Kinect (the gaming sensor for Microsoft's 360 gaming console). It's ability to recognize gestures and tracking people are incredibly accurate.

Based on people tracking capabilities, our solution provides consumer brands with new and unique data streams: a complete new set of valuable metrics, based on what happened in each shelf and store without simulation, forecasting or assumptions. Real data from real events.
