cadbury's unfortunately isnt autralian, its an english company, Cadbury's and nestle are our main providers of milk chocolate as we generally dont have chocolate candy. my favourite choclate is reese's :)

G'day Sheila's (women) , Your friend in blue - she said a pretty good description of Vegemite - and yes in the 'olden days' housewives use to mix a bit of it in stews etc. It has a salty, yeasty taste and you did spread your Vegemite perfectly. To tell you how Vegemite is made will put you off eating it for ever - no doubt about that!! Now you girls have been initiated into Aussie culture. Beauty.

Did you end up trying the vegemite with noodles? I must say, I never really thought about doing that, though I have cooked with it in small amounts.

If you like to cook vegetable stir fry, add one tablespoon of vegemite to the wok when early in the cooking in the wok or pan. Makes for a great base.
