Pork Tonkatsu is a deep fried pork cutlet that most Japanese restaurants always have in their menu. This dish is good with a hot bowl of rice and tonkatsu sauce. Now you can serve this dish right in the comfort of your own kitchen!

キャベツは、もっと細かく切って、量も多い方が綺麗ですよ。トンカツ用のソースを作らないのなら、ブルドックソースがお薦めです。

If I put prepared chops in freezer, should they be thawed out before cooking or just go directly to the fryer?

Wow, in my 7 years that I have lived in Japan I have never seen tonkutsu so thin. Good Japanese tonkutsu is 3/4" but most places use a 1/2" cut.

@namangkot even most restaurants don't make their own sauce, prefering to buy it instead. "Bulldog" brand Tonkatsu Sauce is the standard and it can be found in some grocery stores and pretty much all Asian food stores.
