Maybe it's just me, but I don't find anything funny about this song. Disturbing, moving, sad, yes. Funny? No. Maybe it's our society's deep discomfort with the issue of abuse (of children, of women) that makes us feel the need to make light of something that shoves the reality of it in our face as this song does. The point we should take away here is if you SEE or HEAR something, SAY something. Abuse is NOT a "private, family matter", it is a crime.
