Around 4000 children die every day due to water shortages - and it is going to get worse. That is the warning from the World Water Forum being held in Istanbul this week. Water scarcity has the potential to destabilise the world economically, environmentally and militarily.

  • We have this thing in my town, Dayton, OH, called H2Open for Business. It's basically a group that says, "Come run your business here! We have a lot of water!" This sort of mentality angers and disappoints me. These are the people I have to work with. The NWO of "Fear! Fear! Fear!" fear should also be summed up with "Shut up!"

  • 1) SO racist. wow.

    2) The lust for war and foolish reproduction can easily be seen worldwide. Take a peek into the United States and the 'lust for war' is so apparent you could scrape it off the flag.

I don't know if you're being ignorant or just trolling. Either way, get YOUR shit straight and talk to me about those 'primitive' people.

  • check out "What are We Doing here" as it deals with the effects of international aid to Africa. We need to give them the responsibility to help themselves rather than relying on others. That being said, we have the resources and responsibility to ASSIST them when we can.

  • for every liter of desalinated water you produce there's also about a liter of toxins that have to be treated as well. You definitely heard right, it is very complicated and expensive which makes it herder for poorer countries to use.

  • having 10 kids in the desert when you can feed even yourself is moronic.. ya kno?

  • feed 1 african, and he will turn into 10, then youll have 10 starving africans instead of 1, their like pigeons.. just let them starve down to a number their environment can handle, they dont wanna move to better land then thats their fault, they dont wanna evolve and learn ways to live in those conditions thats their fault, sure negros are primitive, but they can do better, stop the lust for war and foolish reproduction start trying to live peacefully and prosperously

  • if africans and other primative nations would stop the war, and be less content with being primitive they would evolve, and solve the problem themselves like adults should do, or atleast contribute to the global answer, fuck africa and other primitive nations, their adults, they had the same opportunities as us, not our fault they fail, too bad.

  • yupp, send food to africa and they will just populate more and itll just end up in more people starving all day.. they need to get their shit straight, we got our own problems, if only these poor 50%+ would contribute to the world instead of need out handouts

  • the world is 'crowded' by men who need sex but won't cover up. And who waste lives through early death 'over there'.

Social engineering - especially birth control - has no meaning until men recover from their love of war and force to solve problems. We need to conserve, not to waste people.

'Crowded' is code word for 'let die'.

  • If it tastes salty, then it hasn't been desalinated, has it? I agree that the salt disposal might be a problem, on the other hand, we could stop mining salt and start using that same extracted seasalt since it seems to sell at a premium.

And from what I have seen, starvation, dislocation of environmental refugees, and war are even more expensive processes. Desalination is simply distillation of seawater.
