That was the most bizare decision to buy those planes, as Iran at that time was not having enough infrastructure for such planes,

Instead of sending technical engineers from the field he was taking decisions with out consulting other expert in the field.

the reason why he failed and wiped out the kingdom in Iran was his selfish character where he did not give any values and respect to the educated people.
