Denford EasySCAN 3D

The Denford EasySCAN 3D is an optional attachment for their range of CNC Routers. The scanning head is bolted to the side of the existing spindle motor bracket and by using a low powered laser beam is able to scan 3D objects placed inside the machine. In this video a statue is being scanned held in the optional 4th axis which automatically rotates the object through 360 degrees as it is scanned. The second part of the video shows a static object being scanned. The standard control software imports the 'point cloud' data, automatically creates a 3D surface model which can then be edited and exported as raw x y z data or an .STL file.
