I don't know if this is real or not, but most women still stay with their husbands who beat them. It's fear of leaving and no where to go, but usually it is the thought if we did leave most of the time women are threatened or killed. I know..I left my ex who threatened to put me 6 ft under if I left, but I did it anyway. I still watch my back and I don't trust him...There are nice nights where I like to keep my windows open (screen of course) but I fear he would come in or send someone to me.

I was the victim of a vicious assault by my now ex boyfriend when I tried to break up with him.

I was nearly killed, and here I am 2 months later while he rots in jail.
