i had some jack hole do this to me at the lounge i went to on new years, i ordered a gin and tonic and the ass gave me ice water with a wedge of lemon

i refused to pay left the tonic on the counter and left

the drinks are already sold at an 800% markup. Why would they go thru all that hassle to make another 50 cents a drink?

Bartenders want customers to like them. Not giving a customer the drink they orderred makes no sense at all. The bartende doesn't get any profit. the bar owners do.

I personnally don't know any bartender who is willing to do this for his or her boss.

And yes, I'm a bartender myself.

yeah i figured they did that when i was in vegas....i asked for a cranberry n vodka and when the lady came back with my drink, it tasted like nothing but cranberry...that is why i ask for beer, they cant water down beer without u noticing ....or i just go up to the bar and make sure they pour me a good amount..
