@kjlg74 hey when i turn water on and off it doesnt change the way it looks but just it just changes the phisics. i want to be able to tell that water is on. wat do i do?
-
@lkartaltepe its becasue of air friction.
-
can you please help me fighure out how to make a creature evolve underwater?
-
That's still realistic if there's air. Maybe air resistance allows creatures to fly?
-
How can I see multiple creatures at once ?

Why do the objects freeze in the air when gravity is turned off? Shouldn't they fly into space?

There's still a little bit of "drag" in there. The physics engine called this a "damping" setting, if I recall correctly. I don't recall why I didn't set it to zero. Perhaps I should try that some time to see if there was some reason that I left it this way.

Nice video.
What program is this?

I wrote it for an ongoing academic project. It does simulated virtual creature evolution. All these physics options and such are left-overs from when I was learning how to use the physics and graphics engines. If you're interested in a copy I'm always looking for people who'd like a copy in exchange for donating some CPU time to running a few experiments for me (using the software). It's for Windows only, unfortunately. If interested, contact me at "creatures" AT "stellaralchemy" DOT "com".
