What if you have a back up offer that is higher? Realtors lie about offers? Did your Realtor tell you thats a good offer, you took it and now there is a back up offer. But you are legally bound to the first offer, though the Realtor pushed you into taking it. They have no legal liability, they are not bound to anything but you certainly are.. don't let the Realtor give you any ADVICE on whether an offer is good or not.
Don't let your Realtor say, oh well that is a great offer for this market, you take it and then a back up offer for higher and with less "issues" - something smells fishy...
Make your own decisions, if you need to hire "Advice" make it a 3rd party to the transaction, though Realtor Ethics say another Realtor cannot interfere with the DEAL (which is BULL and Wrong).. you have a Right to Advice that is NOT based on whether the deal closes or not.
Such as a Real Estate Consultant, possibly a real estate attorney but not just any attorney.. they don't know what you think or assume they do either... even advice from family, someone who cares .. not someone paid on the outcome of your decision...
