@xxxBlackBubblesxxx Or, ya know, "they" allowed it because they weren't a nation. And they had plenty of room and resources to go around. I'm always amused to hear people talk about the Native Americans as if they were some sort of unified governing collective, rather than a thinly spread aggregate who were only grouped together by virtue of the continent they inhabited. Oh, and they weren't worried about protecting borders from terrorists and the like.

The Native Americans were in America first. Every other race immigrated to America. This sheriff tries to find "illegal immigrants" to deport. Does he try to find out if people who appear white are illegally in America? The Native Americans did not try to rid themselves if other races, Why should Arpaio? Native Americans allowed other races a chance to get a better life in America because we all deserve that chance no mateer how we get to America. Think about that.

Facts on Arpaio

Scott Norberg
Brian Crenshaw
Charles Agster
Clint Yarborough
Medical care suggestive of POW camps, chronic mismanagement, the wanton destruction of records and a steady parade of corpses in Maricopa County jails have cost taxpayers over $41 million dollars.

The only scare tactics Arpaio uses is making sure people know what will happen if they break the law. No coushy vacation in an air conditioned jail cell, but an uncomfortable stay with the bare necessities. He is upholding the laws, and punishing those who would break them. Why hate the only polititian who actually goes out and does what he says he will do?

Finally, I had to read many comments before I got to your great one. I agree with everything you said here. First of all this crazy Arpaio needs a wake-up call, he needs to find God. The Majority of people are making their decisions it seems based on scare-tactics that is sad since we are supposed to be so educated and ahead in this world.
A person who never fails to ellict strong opinions, but hey he is still doing it and like people like J Edgar Hoover or any big fish or larger fish he keeps on keeping on.
Glad you liked my journal.

I think this was in 1995 or 1996- It was shot at the Chauncy Arabian Ranch in Scottsdale this was when Tom Bearupp and he was still friends- I produced this show- not my finest moment but it worked for him.
