Agree with his message but I can't agree that women are ALWAYS considered immoral to pursue men in the Bible. Would it not be considered a pursuit of Boaz when Ruth snuggled up to him in a barn when he had had a bit too much to drink? Or is what she did not the same kind of a pursuit as he means?

I would say that they are. Notice how, in the passage that Boaz sends her home, and then he obeys the Lord's law (Deut. 5.5)? I would say that possibly Ruth may have acted out of the law of God, and that would be a sin. But you cannot not take into account that God takes all matters and works them for his own good. In this case, Ruth (like all of us) could have handled the situation differently, but we are to take the lesson of Boaz in his response and obedience to the Lord.

Ruth was obeying her mother-in-law's instructions. She had a right to the protection of Boaz, who was a near kinsman, since her husband was dead. A lot of this had to do with the reclaiming of their land, and the continuance of the family name. She wasn't pursuing him so much as claiming the protection he as her kinsman owed to her.

Christilive4 I like what you said and agree completely. I didn't know there were still women like you around.... anyways I guess not many people still think like us anymore eh? BTW - what is your age? And you're right - it seems to be a very different "language" we speak...

All I know is Im 29 and I have yet to meet one -single- Christian female that can comprehend the scripture over the wants and lusts of this world.
and
Paul washer is wrong here about the no good woman ever chasseing after a man
Paul must have spaced out the book of Ruth
She slept at his feet also.
Anyway this is one time when I can say that Paul was not correct in a major way.

This man is perpetuating cultural sterotypes. Females have been told since birth to "be nice" don't be bold, don't be out spoken, don't brazen (whats wrong with being bold with out shame when your standing for whats right?) , fold or sit on our hands and not to make the 1st move.

THe woman represents the church in the Bible. Don't we as a church have to search for God daily even? So why is it that a woman can't approach a man without being "man-like, or a whore? That is ridiculous.

The bible says that a woman is to be "shamefaced" which means to be bashful, and that they must be adorned in modest apparel. Most people don't believe this anymore.

Absolutely.
]I take it you mean bashful as in not to draw attention to yourself. If this is how you are using the word bashful...then I totally agree w/ you.
