Irene marries Soames for his money but it doesn't take her long to find love elsewhere and drive her husband mad. Years later, their frustrations are revisited when his daughter and her son from different marriages fall in love.
I really wanted to do a video about Irene and Soames, but when I heard this song I knew it was about all of them. I half think this song was written for the cold, detached Irene.

I just lent my DVD to a friend to watch for the first time! I thought Gina McKee and Damien Lewis were BRILLIANT in this!
