Hotel California Intro 12 string

Quick demo on a Rogue 12 string guitar. I chopped up the first 4 bars with strumming to hear the tone. Not bad for cheap guitar. It took a lot of work to make it playable, but worth it. good top end ring, and decent volume. Recorded with a Nikon coolpix camera, backed w /alesis sr16 drum track.

Thanks, for the comment... Neck (tighten) adjustment and Lighter gauge strings make the most difference. Has Darco Extra light .011 80/20 bronze

Thanks, the Neck needs to be tightened and add extra Light Strings (Darco) to make this guitar play better. Medium gauge they put on this model is too much.

@tednugentlives what do you mean by "too much" too much tension, string diameter.....volume?! (no such thing, in my opinion, it sounds gorgeous) ive been thinking about picking this one up as well. looks nice, and has a beautiful sound to boot!

@DarkestFireWings Yes, tension. Pulls the neck (more than the truss rod will resist)so action is very high. lighter strings = better 12 string. Thanks

For the guitar- is the top of the neck any wider than a regular 6- string?

damn i sure wish you could tab that for me that sounds great. i never know the finger picking pattern its all so erratic...

Very cool! Thanks again bud. I've ordered it. I'll check it out for a bit and maybe upload a video. Thanks for the comment, was me a couple years ago my friend uploaded it. Been playing intensely since then. Take it easy. Ill mess w/ the action when i get it and update w/ some good strings.
