It's utter shit. Thomas Grimble (of Hawkwind fame) was involved in recording the 4th album and played it to me after a gig on headphones in 1983. It was never released but contained lots of references to Maggie Thatcher , amongst others. It was gut-wrenchingly funny. Piss-inducing hilarity. Is that proof enough that they carried-on doing what they did best?

Yes another stupid retrospective analytical 'documentary' about something that was valid, funny and very original. It is perfectly ok to laugh at Derek & Clive without rationalising it and analysing it so that there is no possibility of anybody thinking you are a sexist boor, but no it's got to be seriously taken apart to explain to us plebs that it isn't really sexist & vulgar but actually quite cool. Thanks but I didn't need a Phd to work that out. Some things are just damn good!
