This is a video of a 2003 Eclipse Sporty GT running a RIPP Supercharger Drive System in stage 1 form. The owner has RIPP headers, Magna Flow Exhaust, GTS intake manifold and our Boost Cooler installed. Max Psi was 7psi up top. The car is making 312whp. The system is configured in our 2006/07 set up with supplemental injection and BRAT box. All RIPP systems come this way now, the result is more power with less boost.

  • if you guys can show me the 00-05 eclipse gt ripp has a fast 0-60 I will purchase the product, I just am skeptical without seeing proof, yes dyno is nice but I want to see actual speedometer going 0-60. If possible could you provide this footage?

Also If I just buy a tuner supercharger will I be all set to put it on my stock eclipse?

  • Sorry thats not going to happen - this product was developed in 2001, we sold our cars off in 2004. We've sold 600 plus kits since then. A tuners package comes with all the parts your need to get it bolted to your stock engine. You as an owner will need to work with your tuner to do your fuel and piping.

  • hey im looking @ getting a new car ... its a hard desion im looking at

    a 2005 eclipse spyder gts with 70k miles 11,000$

and a 2002 toyota celica gt with 112k mile 6500$ i kinda like the celica looks better not caring about the miles but the eclipse is faster/funner

  • cool neither of those cars have an expanded aftermarket performance line. Make sure you buy a car with the parts you want to own.

  • So this would work on a 03 gts no problem then yes?

  • @wes39393 Because turbos are easier to set up in a 4cyl, and there are more of them available.

  • @JerryMohawk7 What?

  • Nice, been looking around at these set ups lately, but really should I remove a turbo on my 3g? The owner put a cheap ass turbo... YES i know they don't come stock I bought it in 2006 used and well, still have it. I never really though about it until lately... NICE VID!!!!

  • That is not a car...

    0.0 sounds like a boeing!

    damn epic!! :D

  • do these kits bolt on to a stock motor

  • Superchargers don't restrict exhaust and have virtually no lag. The only problem is it takes power to make power with a supercharger so most 1.8L just wont gain much HP where as a 3.0L could actually spool that thing up really well. Ever see a 71 Charger R/T with a turbo? Ever see a civic with a supercharger? My point exactly.

  • i have a 2001 Mitsubishi gt with 120k miles on it....if i purchase a kit like this would i just install the kit like it is or do i have to buy other parts as well ? and what kind of tuning would have to be done ?

  • @bigenginesismythang lol spot on :)

  • i will enjoy my life because i can tell your having a hard time enjoying yours
