At the opening of the International Surfing Museum's Surf Sounds exhibit, Dean Torrence leads Dick Dale, the Beach Boys' Chris Farmer and the Nocturnes in his signature tune, "Surf City."
@whotookaegir The same reason why when in a London club and Hendrix was recognized and asked to come up and perform with the group, Jimi, reluctantly consenting, picked up the bass guitar.
it's funny (being sarcastic) that the writers of great songs die but their music survive and the ones that had nothng to do with it but only sang back ground on them gain fame from these songs.
When did this happen?
