This is my neighbors John Deere Push Mower Purchased in 1982 at the same Dealer I purchased my LT160 4 years ago :) I finally got it running after 10 years of sitting. All it needed was a new plug, oil change, air filter upgrade, and cleaned points/coil. I didn't even have to clean the carb! man I love older Briggs and Stratton engines!

  • The engine on this would be a model 110988 type 0530-01, code 82032824. Correct???

  • Yes that should be correct except for the last 5 digits on the code.

  • Then what would the last five digits of the "code" number be?

  • Not sure, the mower isn't in my hands at the moment, but no code should be identical on Briggs engines

  • is it belt driven transmission?

  • Love the Briggs engines, very well built. I've got a couple newer ones and older ones

  • that is one nice looking push mower. looks like its pretty well built!

  • Points and condenser. Later in 1982 all B&S engines used Magnetron electronic ignitions.

  • sweet stuff man

  • points and condition? lol

  • Man that thing runs smooth! Is that one of the aluminium body mowers?

  • It looks somewhat like a Snapper design.
