i don't get what is so special about the floor

The floor was dirt-black.... room looked similar to the room with the guy that was sweeping....you kind of have to put them together to figure it out. Or you could just look at the next video to figure out the solution.

also, you are right that each level has something similar with each, but 2 is the one of the ones that doesn't seem to have a pattern.
