Thousands of toddlers in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) suffered from malnutrition and had not been handled well. Ironically, most of local council members have not returned back-pay of local budget of 6,5 billion rupiah, whereas the budget would be more beneficial if it is used to help the malnutrition victims which often happened in that area.

Thousands of toddlers in North Timor Tengah are still waiting for the aid from the local government. Most of these poor toddlers are treated at homes, as their parents are too poor to bring them to the hospital. Even though the Regent denied that there are malnutrition cases, but from SCTV coverage in the field,
until now the government and local council have not had policy to handle these malnutrition toddlers.

Ironically, local council members of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) have not returned the back-pay of local budget of 6,5 billion rupiah that they got last February.
The reason is, they don't know where to return it. If only these noble members of local council can be more sensitive perhaps they could spare a little amount of their income to these malnutrition toddlers. Just picture it out, every local council member got a back-pay of 90 million rupiah. The Chairman of local council got more than 200 million rupiah. And the three vice chairmen got 115 million rupiah.
