thats ok if you think emgs are bad have you ever tried one without the battery in they sound clean even with distortion fully up the best rock pickups ive tried were dimarzio hs2 pickups at least i think they were im not sure because i tried an eric johnson strat and they were the pickups in it and sounded powerfull but crystal clear only problem was the price of the guitar 2000 pounds too much for me at the time
