14 axles, 168 wheels, two-lanes wide hauling a 300,000 pound boiler to the world's longest rail car in South Yard in Bogalusa, La. The boiler is being transported from Calpine's facility in Bogalusa to one on the Arizona/California border. Trains will be under a 25 mph limit while moving, which means a straight through travel time would be no less than 56 hours. The move is estimated to cost more than $1 million.
