we just got some camping supplies, obviously for camping, but I feel good knowing that in an emergency it could come in handy.

@highwayhokie most canned foods can be eaten after expiration, but they begin to loos nutritional value after expiration date. The best thing is to smell it and see how it smells. If bad, don't eat it. Also never open a bulgging can (obviously). Hope that helps :)

ok, what happens to canned food if it is after expiration date? I live in a condo, can't grow much on my 5th floor balcony. I think I pretty much have about 6 months of supplies including medical, sanitary, and weapons/ammo.
