Actually, Evolution is much more than a just a "theory".

The word Theory in the scientific sense also means "structure designed to explain a set of empirical observations".

The theory of evolution is an extremely well-substantiated theory backed up with plenty of evidence supporting it to the point where it is considered a fact within the science community.

I agree with yukimushu. Evolution isn't just a "theory" anymore. There is so much evidence to support it. A prime example of evolution is bacteria and viruses. They are constantly changing and adapting to the drugs designed to kill them. Micro organisms can evolve that quickly because they are so small. Humans on the other hand take much much much MUCH longer to evolve because we are made up of billions upon billions of cells while most bacteria are made of just 1 cell.
