start with a certified athletic training program for your bachelor's degree

@NinjaMitsuko go to apta.org and look under the careers and education drop down menu and you should find all the education info you need. as far as i have researched (what im trying to do) you should get your AA in the pre physical therapy track (gets you all the general ed you need for a DPT) then get a bachelors degree (in anything as far as i know) take the GRE and apply to a DPT program. The PTA program will just get you a job in the field not help you become a PT.

Very informative video.
Metriks' FCE software allows the healthcare professional to objectively quantify and report on a person's functional abilities.

@NinjaMitsuko well for the PT program at the university that I plan to attend, you must have at least a bachelors degree. It is highly recommended that you choose a major that fulfills many of the prerequisite courses that are required to earn admittance into the PT program. Some schools may offer pre-physical therapy option but many students choose a science major like biology. In your case you would have to go back to school and earn a bachelors degree if you don't already have one.
