  • What pulse do you play this piece in - I find crotchet makes the faster passsagework more improvisatory and quaver steady but perhaps too rigid ?

  • @Principal45 Yes, crotchet definitely. I first learned this piece on the harpsichord and it helped to get that improvisatory spirit into it.

  • This is the music you want to hear at the end of mass - dignified & inspiring !
