Right, but MOST actors and writers DONT work regularly, as you said. We all have to stand together. And not only within our industry, but in ALL industries. Check out that crappy contract that the UAW workers got. The way to victory is through unity with all working people and to pressure union leadership for better leadership. It's not easy, but what we stand to lose right now is worse.

Strike effects:
Studios will be fine
Actors ( working regularly) will be fine
Writers ( working regularly) fine too
Actors and writers that DON'T work regularly NOT fine.
Crew only getting a check? NOT fine. Losing everything.

Already been there...IATSE has No triple time, night shooting premiums, turnaround invasion has changed, etc. All gone. Bottom line trickle down effect is we get nothing and are effected worse.

Oh, don't even think that you guys won't be next in some other form. Look around -- the owners of everything are after everything -- and IATSE is not exempt - it just won't take th form of residuals.

Hey guys THANKS for sticking it to all of us below the line CREW that don't get residuals and work JUST AS HARD for a mere paycheck.
Now WE get to loose our homes, health insurance and get a DAY JOB!!!!
