  • What is the second Schubert piece?

  • The second Schubert piece is the ninth symphony, one of my favourite symphonies ever!

  • PLEASE! The dramatic pieces from Mahler and Wagner. I must know!!!

  • The Mahler was the 5th Symphony and the Wagner was the Tannhauser Overture

  • BEETHOVEN!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i think Vivaldi would've come higher if more people knew about his sublime=) choral works

  • cool

  • Hey!!!! e dov'è Puccini????

  • aah overture 1812, the most perfect piece in my humble opinion

  • Please tell me which part you took of the Bruckner Symphony No 4?

  • He died when he was only 31 years of age. In his very short life span he produced more heart wrenching music than any other composer, yet received no recognition. It is very sad to see him below Dvorak (who in fact absolutely idolised him) and not side by side with beethoven - where he belongs. The greatest love and sorrow indeed - and the greatest music. Still not recognised, how much longer will it take? Have so few people listened to the C major String Quintet and wept?

  • @teresa2610

    Hungarian Rhapsody N°2 =)

  • Bethoven is certainely number 1,,but i would vote for hopin to be number 3 after back and mozart number 5

  • @AmadeusMozart99 mozart is one of the best compuser in the history. His music is so beautiful, i like many piece of mozart ( requiem, piano concertos,...) but i prefer beethoven because his music has got more strength and passion.

  • please!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    the first of liszt?

    the first of rachmaninov?

the first and second of chaikovski?

Beethoven, naturally the number 1, the best compuser ever!!!!!!

Chopin schould be the number 2 or 3. I love chopin´s music.

  • please, the first of liszt?????

  • what a travesty of a compilation of composers!! there is no contest as to who is the greatest and it is not beethoven.anyone who has listend to a variety of classical music knows that number 2 is number 1.

  • In the name of all that is good and holy, where is Joplin?

  • 1. Beethoven

    2.Bach

    3. Mozart

  • The first two pieces are respectively the Gavotte and Gigue to His Orchestral Suite No. 3 in D Major BWV 1068, the last piece is the first movement to His Harpsichord Concerto No. 5 in F Minor BWV 1056. And indeed, Great Father Bach is waaaaaaaaay out of anybody's league. There's Him, then everybody else comes after.

  • I like Vivaldi

  • I personally think Shostakovich, Haydn, and Bach should be higher on the list!

  • Does anybody know the names of the Bach selections?

  • And where is Puccini? P.S. I also like Beethoven than Mozart. I'm glad

  • There is something about Beethoven that appeals to the reach of human striving, a sort of "Faustian" personality! :-) Mozart much more personal, more delicate and, dare I say it...feminine, with all the good things that implies (elegant and capricious, cute and playful) in a way that Beethoven could not be. I don't think that makes one better than the other, it is such a blessing to get to hear the work of both of them, what an age that was, the human creative mind at the top of its game :-)

  • I wouldn't say they are weird (wierd) - they may just happen to prefer Beethoven to Mozart...

  • Ah, yes - Vivaldi - "The same concerto 400 times."

  • Haydn on 20, Mendelssohn on 10 and Chopin on 8??

    But it's cool, that Beethoven's 1st!!

  • overture to william tell

  • Mozart!!!

  • Mozart-best
