Ratchet's father was called Kaden. Every other Lombax left to a different dimension because of the Cragmites but Kaden left to defend the Lombax secret. he was killed by Tachyon and baby Ratchet was sent to Veldin.

well they tell you that the girl is a lombax in the downloadable game for the ps3 called ratchet and clank quest for booty.
