after clicking "free user" you will get a countdown. If you dont want to wait try this handy cheat. As it counts down paste ;

into the adress bar and press enter, a pop up-window will appear with a "0" click ok and they waiting time will have vanished so you can now download the file instantly!

you must have a jailbroken iphone use redsn0w with 3.0
and from cydia app that the jailbreak will install search for voipover3G and install it to your phone
slingplayer is available through installous but your on your own finding it :-)

Would you know if there is an update i see iphone browser doesnt work for the 3.1 and i am livid without my sling player ...is there another way to trick the iphone apps to think it is running on the 3g network for the slingbox

every thing that was ever any good for he iphone was the jailbreak that allowed the add ons to existing software, without jail break your iphone is no more than an ipod with a phone attached. 3.1 there is no jailbreak and looks like there never will be. if you upgraded to 3.1 you are not able to downgrade (unless you saved certain files within cydia- and if you didnt you would need to ask and if you didnt its too late). 3.1 has just fucked you !

i downloaded slingplayer with installious and when i SSH i dont see mobile substrate? please help?

Navigate to the correct folder just like video above. I havent used SSH as its much easier just to plug in the usb.

Could really use some help:

Through SSH I see Library but within that folder there is no MobileSubstrate folder. In Cydia, I search for Mobile Substrate and it shows that its already installed (0.0.3005-1)

Ive reinstalled a few times, restarted a few times still no luck in finding that root.

Any ideas?
