it was a girl's dream, back in the late 60's - early 70's, to see the Grass Roots play at our town's Fisheman's Fiesta....What a crush I had on Rob !
Rob RIP - Your memory will be forever eternal...

@bze2nlz4 What a shame. I didn't know that about his past health. He was such a charismatic musician. July has been a bad month for passing rockers, the other being Dan Peek.
Could the interviewer in this clip possibly be Norman Knight of the Sirius XM Radio Broadcast team ? I've never seen his picture, but I have heard him on the radio and he broadcast from the Rock N Roll HOF in Cleveland where this interview with Rob Grill is taking place. The face isn't familiar but the voice sure is. If anyone knows for sure, let me know.

@15yankeeman The emcee is Norm N. Nite, and yes, he's the same person from Sirius. He has a channel here, NormMNite.

Thanks so much for posting this. I have seen the PBS special but I didnt see this part. I've been a fan for 40t years and I can't ever get enough of The Grass Roots. I just went back and read the posting above mine and I purchased this video also. I'm going to have to get mine out and look for this also. Can't believe I overlooked it either. Double thanks to you for sharing,Rhonda

@ran6658 Hi Rhonda! Thanks for the nice comment. On the main menu, click on 'Upstage with the Artists.' That will take you to Rob, Mark Lindsay, Tommy James and others....don't want to upload too much from this, I'm kind of taking a chance here if you know what I mean!
