In 10 episodes here on YouTube Dr. Harding lead you into a new understanding of our beloved mother Earth. Earth, or Gaia as he prefers to say, needs to be taken care of now. The human rase is about to amuse itself to death on how we exploit the resources.
James Lovelock (1919 - ) is a pioneer and rolemodel in this field. He is an independent scientist, author, researcher, environmentalist, and futurist. He is known for proposing the Gaia hypothesis, in which he postulates that the Earth functions as a kind of superorganism.
This qoute from the great philosopher says it all: "All life has intrinsic value, irrespective of its value to humans" - Arne Naess, (1912 - 2009) RIP
Arne Næss was the founder of deep ecology. He is widely regarded as the foremost Norwegian philosopher of the 20th century
Dr. Harding is bringing it all together!
Stephan Harding is a faculty member at Schumacher College, Devon, UK. One of the courses he will be teaching on this autumn is titled 'Ecoliteracy: First Principles for Radical Change', which provides a foundation of knowledge and understanding of what an ecological world view is.

This makes me think of the words of E.O. Wilson "We should put aside our differencies in order to save the Creation". And I bet that includes our civilization, too.

all of them....everyone has different interests. But, above all, those who understand what is happening must take this knowledge and apply it (NOW).......living by praxis is the true way to influence the world while, at the same time, educating the misled...........Once we all begin to think, act, and live in a positive harmony, the tragedy which we now face will be reversed and turned into a golden age........ peace

That's exactly what I've been wondering, that's the very core of the problem. And has the solution - to make people aware and willing to act - more to do with psychology or intelligence? Or do we need a more spiritual approach? Or them all?

How do we eat a elephant? One small bite at a time... How do we break this immensely high transformity knowledge into bite sized nuggets for digestion of the masses??? To transform we are going to have to get the key to the masses- the majority has to get onboard- most are simply at the moment not interested and see this as some arcane intellectual excercise. How do we engage the imagination of the public? How do we create a vision that inspires people to change?
