@emiltossa That's your opinion and many people would agree while many others would disagree.
You can live in the past all you want, but the world continues and so does Ducati. They have to innovate in order to survive. They can not live off of the 916 forever. It was a great bike and still is. But definately the 848/1098/1198 series are brilliant bikes and in my opinion much better bikes.
Btw, what lines are 'Japanese' and what statistics support your claim that most don't like those lines?

none of them are icons like the 916 lines, the 1098 is just an updated 916 (with japonese lines wich most dont like), and the 999 series is plain ugly.

Funny, the 999/749 and the 1198/1098/848 are already history and people are anxiously waiting the arrival of the 1199 Panigale =P Still a cool bike though.
