Everything they do is fantastic, refreshingly talented, professional, stage majic. Just saw their performance at the prestigious Hill School, Pottstown, Pa on Feb 1, our 10th show
since 2007...we love em and recommend to anyone who not only loves this music genre but any music style. We hope they win all 9 SPBMGA Awards for which they were nominated which is going on in Nashville as this is written. The group members are among if not the best bluegrass musicians in the country. Well I already love bluegrass, but I agree their harmony is superb. Too hear Jamie's amazing high notes and Darrin's rich baritone vocie together is truely spectacular. Doyle Lawson will really have to struggle for those vocal group of the year awards now.
However, I don't think your giving bluegrass instrumentation enough credit. Bluegrass is actually an amazing musical combinatation of african and celtic roots. Its amazingly cultural!

These guys are simply amazing! They are going above n beyond just the traditonal bluegrass fan base! Im just blown away by anything and everything they do!

Jamie's got it right that their fans like harmony. I wasn't originally a big bluegrass fan, but I'm a huge fan of the Statlers and tight harmony, so that's what first drew me to D&V. I still love that they do so many Statlers songs, but I've fallen in love with bluegrass and especially these guys. ANYthing they do is just phenomenal. Their new album is outstanding!
