This is a wonderful version of the Stan Vincent classic, "Ooh Ooh Child." Dee Dee Sharp's's version is one of the very best! It is an inspirational interpretation. I tried to contact the incoming Obama people to suggest Dee Dee Sharp's appearance at Obama's inaugaration singing this one!

Stan Vincent deserves a significant citation for this wonderful much recorded and performed song. The song should be designated a legend! I began to sing it back in 1969 in dedication to the children of Northern Ireland! I sing and perform "OOh Child" now for all the children of the world! We older ones need to ensure a better world now and for the future for our children! All Children!

@groovinwalrus ,.Yes I so agree “All the Children”! This song has such a universal message filled with “Love & Hope” for this and the generations to follow across all continents especially Africa, where children are dying on alarming levels from poverty & imagine in 2011, Hunger!!!
If the message is heard the impact can be huge, so I agree this is a great choice for Obama’s campaign for his next term!. Cheers!
