This reminds me of the sonic sensation one experiences when in a busy room where a lot of talking is going on, one focuses on no sound and all sounds at the same time (going with the flow, so to say); this loss of conscious attention to *particular streams* of sonic information approximates quite nearly the way I experience this composition.
