@zEPRZ I really wish we lived in a world where people didn't ask ridiculous shit like this.

Your Video Is Very Useful Sharing Amateur astronomers Anthony Wesley and Christopher Go (independently) observed an impact event on Jupiter.

@Dazanism But we CAN say that it's not unusual. Cloud belts on Jupiter have disappeared and reappeared several times already. Some slight changes in the atmosphere could suggest if it's going to disappear or reappear. For example: several weeks before the SEB reappeared again we saw several brown spots emerging where it used to be, suggesting that it was making it's comeback.

@Dazanism The weather system on Jupiter is barely understood. Weather on Earth is already pretty unpredictable at some times. Jupiter is a gas giant, Earth a small rocky planet. The composition of Jupiter's atmosphere is nowhere nearly the same as the one from our own planet. Jupiter: mainly H and He, Earth: mainly N2 and O2. All these factors (and perhaps even more) lead to a completely different weather pattern. We can't say why and when the cloud belts will disappear or reappear.
