Well, McArthur doesn't believe miraculous healing, he's kinda lost in there

hidened MacArthur has said over the years that if and when the Lord does heal, that He does so by His will... according to His plans and purpose. Dr. MacArthur does believe in God`s healing, just not in the way charaismatics practice..

John's error in this is that He doesn't really believe God can speak to us today outside of the written text. Yes, the written text is the end all be all standard for everything else, but for 400 years after Jesus died there was no official bible for God to use yet somehow all of those thousands of believers seem to hear the Lord just fine - even to the point that many were willing to lay down their very lives.

The danger of this teaching is it minimizes true friendship with God.

We share the Gospel to convict hearts and bring about faith in Jesus.If God wants you to pray for America, that is 1 thing!Life & death in the tongue has to do with power of words and speech to affect people WHO HEAR THEM (not a mystical concept).

this is very true,i was stuck in Churches like these ones mentioned for a long time until by The Grace of God alone God despite what church i went to or what false teachers taught me God matured me enough and brought me to a place to plainly see The Truth and stop wanting some kind of mystical emotional experience,Praise Jesus for His teachers like Brother John MacArthur......Amen

Thank yo Blaze25z for getting the "unaltered WORD of GOD" out there. I have been studying under JM for almost 10 years now & have not found any that speak as clearly as him. The Word is not up for debate as many want to think & more & more evangelical churches are altering God's Word to fit the masses. God Bless!!

I am a christian & when I was baptized with water, it was great! But not 2 long after that, I was standing in church sunday morn singing "Create in me a clean heart" when all of a sudden, a tingling started at my toes & right up thru my head. I had to sit or fall & the tears were flowing & it truly was the most WOW experience of my life. I don't speak in tongues or anything but I have amazing GOD MOMENTS all the time. I was washed with the Holy Spirit & am very grateful 2 HIM! God Bless!!

Jesus has given me revelation and because it came from Him you bet I can prove it by His word. If I am the only one standing in the gap for the healing and restoration of our nation and the world I will continue standing. God said and I will make the wisdom of the wise as foolishness. Woe unto the man who prays for the day of the LORD for what manner of day will it be for him? Does he not know the day of the LORD is darkness and in it is no light. The power of life and death is in the tongue.
