Salsa New Concept

Yes, you see it. New Concept Salsa move from Salomon and Delfina. This week salsa routine incorporated with some really cool and never seen before move. Well, Salomon did it like thousand times already. Anyway, pay attention to the move right after open break. Guy lead the lady to turn around on their shoulder (but let go after she turns) and immediately lead her with right turn at her waist. Next, rock back at step 6 (i never did it on 6, something new) and do a come and go. Here it comes the crazy part. After the double turn on the lady, side step on 1, and right turn the lady on 2, and left turn her again on 6. And then, do the same thing again on next 1 2 3, but give the lady a firm push on 5 to lead her across. You have to make the lady to step across on 5, if not it will fail!

Fiu... that's the new stuff this week. A lot of the classmate, guys and ladies love this week move. It is doable, I use it with someone completely has no idea of the routine and it works!! Try the new concept yourself!

One note for lady, there is a lot of subtle lead in this routine.

I don't know why ya calling this a new concept? Really creative and smooth patterns he has this salomon, but still based on the basic movements. Anyway i like it a lot. Please keep sending this amazing stuff.

@salsalcoholic Salomon showed a few moves that are new to us (at least in the class). One of them is right turning the lady on 2 (usually we turn the lady on 6) and making sure the lady land her foot forward on 5 immediately to get her across. Actually for me is pretty tough..

@salsalcoholic In addition, I put some of the new concepts of this routine I learnt in the description. There are basic move like you mentioned, but executed differently.

@neugan I see what you mean. But he's not he first who's changing the timing of some turnpatterns. Normally you start your phrase (if i may say so) on 1 and end it on 8. He's actually not ending he's "phrases" on 8 but keeps going, that's why he's timing changes. That's ok if the music permits it but can look silly if its not done according the music. Other's that have been doing this are U-tribe and lately even Super Mario. On 2 a lot of artists are doing this for years.
