A: my 4200 lb grocery getter, stock to stock against the shitang, only loses by a fender and with both having a c.a.i. and a tune the G8 wins by a car in the 1/2 mile (test made against 3 of my buddies stangs and same results each time) and keep in mind it's a 4 door sedan vs a 2 door sports car. A SC G8 GT doing 11's is gonna beat just about ANYTHING, including other vehicles in your precious GM line up like Corvette, Camaro, GTO, etc. Also gonna smash Challengers with that setup, but you gotta hate on Ford? @denny099999999 The EISA loan Ford took was set up in 2007 before the recession and taken in 2009, and was for improving gas mileage and emissions. Ford did take out 5.9 bil on the pre-established loan. Where as GM was bailed out in emergency fashion to the tune of 19.4 bil between GM and GMAC. I'm not bashing GM here, but don't let your own fanboyism blind you to the facts. Both took money in a somewhat different fashion, and one of them took ALOT more money than the other.

Try searching the Internet about the 5.0's reliability. It is not the greatest engine right now. Problems after problems. Strong motor when nothing is wrong of course.

@denny099999999 I dont disagree. I think Dodge came out the worst, as they havent made as much ground back as GM did. Ford gained ground from the beginning. But as time passes, i agree that the impact of the bailout wont affect GM in a negative way (still not sure about Dodge though)

Lol, whoever uploaded this, try racing a 5.0 that's boosted by a procharger, or a vortech, whipple or kenne bell, then see how bad Ford's tailights suck. The roushes are weak compared to a proper air compresser. The 5.0's have been up to 800 horses on stock internals with a blower that doesn't suck lol. That 5.0 is the best use of American cubic inches since the 426 hemi, and it's definately the better engine compared to pretty much anything else right now, including anything from GM or Mopar.
