The video doesn't suck at all. :) They're poking fun at other genres of music with this video. If you think about the song, and then match it to the video, it makes a whole lotta sense.

they're not poking fun at OTHER genres, they're poking fun at the whole idea of having genres. bands should just play what they like or differant types of music without being labeled. and if they play a mix they usually get called alternative. there's so many 'alternative' bands out there how can they all get called the same thing. anyway. you're right this video doesn't suck :P
