My Hero - Expert Drums 100% Full Combo - Rock Band 2 Ion Drums

A run of My Hero by Foo Fighters.

I'm currently tied at #9 on the world leaderboards for the XBox 360. :D I'm not pretending that I'm a better drummer than he is...but I scored a few thousand points more than someguy913. XD

The basic rhythm in the chorus and verses are easy enough if you can press the bass pedal plenty of times in a row without difficulty. The bridge section at 2:50 is a different story though. I went through that section many times in practice mode to get a feel of it. You can also see me do that roll pattern in the very beginning of the video before the song starts.

Notice at 2:52 when my eyes go from the TV to the drum pads. The most common mistake for me during that part was missing the drum pads entirely so by memorizing the pattern and knowing when it would come up, I found it much more comfortable to go through.

what do u have on ur drum sticks, grip tape ? ...and i dont no how ur pedal doesnt moves around, mine moves like crazy! maybe its just the i hit ?

I just bought these sticks at a music store and they just came with this plastic red grip on them. The pedal has Velcro on the bottom of it, which makes it stick to the floor. Quite useful!

Well, considering how often the bass pedal is repeated, bouncing really helps you keep your rhythm in this song.

I just got an ION set and bought an extra cymbal. I almost gold stared this song and had so much trouble with it on the crappy RB1 drums.

u can get it on sale, my friend got it for $50, and the tension is adjustable.

I dont know if it is the surface i use it on but i find it moves far too much. I also think it could use a lot more tension. It is good if you use heel toe which i don't. I think it's better than the rb2 stock but definently not worth 80$.
