  • And yet you "#$"#% keep buying apple crap

  • If this somehow comes up, wait for 1 or 2 month with black spot on the screen. Apple made a flop show on 27 inch imac. If this is new, get your money back ASAP.

  • hi man come and see my new video:"Apple made a flop"

and be happy to have you on "the official i-hate Apple" facebook group..:)

  • I play lots of demanding games and watch 1080p movies constanly and my iMac 27inch with the 4850 isn't flickering

  • Buy expensive computer with weak graphics card... be happy and smug?

    lol, whatever

  • The new iMac (Late 2009) has an Air Vent on Top in back & on Bottom in back, near the Power Cord. So it's better but not perfect.

  • I mean I look at the back of iMacs and cant see a single place for air to enter or exit. Is it waterproof or what? LOL

Oh, so they use different screen makers? I bet you the iMacs that do flicker all use the exact same screen maker and only those screens can't handle the lack of ventilation maybe? Fascinating Captain. LOL

  • Yea but it's not just the cable it's defective Screens from LG I presume. But I have to agree with your point. There's a lot of stuff crammed in there. But not EVERY iMac has these problems. I know someone with a 24" that the screen is flawless & never flickers.

  • The cable thing is an easy fix but to cram all that heat generating electronics into an unventilated monitor case is just crazy and uh dare I say stupid.

  • It's not just the ATI's that have the Problem. The NVidia has some problems. It's the Screen & the Screen cable going to the Video Card. I know because I have the same issue with my 21.5 NVidia iMac.
