Amon Amarth was an alternate name for Mount Doom in Tolkien's Universe. Miklagaard was the name the Varyags - Scandinavina mercenaries, acting as guards of the byzantine emperors gave to Constantinople, today's Istanbul. Best song of Amon Amarth!!!

If you play the medieval total war 2 you'll see there are Varangian guard which are the best unit in the whole army of byzantine!
