It was also originally planned to be just a lobby system for the game The Getaway.

So yeah.... its been around a lot longer than the Wii and 360s Miis and avatars.

actualy home was suppose to be out for the ps2. the slim not fat. and was holded for release till now

Actually Home was dated to be released in 2005, dress soon after. So it'd actually be Wii copying the PS3, then 360 copying the Wii.
