WCVE and WCVW had a history of using the same sign-on/off clips.
When I was a kid back in the day the "Central Virginia's Public TV" era clips aired, I usually saw these on WCVW, as WCVE signed off at midnight (and WCVW was 11 PM), and then signed back on at 6 AM (whereas WCVW returned at 7).
When I got up early to watch the kid's shows on WCVW during summer break, I made a habit of getting up to see the sign-on.

I have lived in Richmond much of my life, and have VERY fond memories of this clip and my childhood in the 90s.
This clip ran at sign-on as well, with the "as we say good night" part removed.
Thanks to novice841 for posting this! :-)
hmmm, actually, I think "Shenandoah" music may have been WWBT signoff back in the day...

@irish89055 You were right the first time; I remember the "Shenandoah" sign-off on WCVE, which aired around 1990. WWBT signed off in the late 1980s with Tomita's synthesized rendition of a classical piece.
