I hate "shout tracks".....you can hear that very same track at West Angeles...and various other COGIC churches. What happened to natural, spontaneous shouts? And whatever...to the haters that will get mad at me for saying it!! lol...

I totally understand your point..but as a person who observes social change and culture, I really feel "clap tracks" are a result of consistant corporatization of the church. Its an effort to make churches within an organization more alike. One of the things I used to like about visiting different congregations was the variation in the music..the diffrences in the styles and presentation. COGIC isn't the only group making these changes....

As a drummer, I love the shout tracks and any other drum track. The tracks act as a perfect tempo keeper for those who can't clap on the correct beats when shout music is played.

And to clarify...I'm talking about the extra clapping and drumming that is recorded, played along with the actual music.
